Margarida works on environmental law and democracy.<\/p>\n
Her main focus is on the rights guaranteed by the Aarhus Convention: access to environmental information, participation in decision-making, and access to justice.
\nShe holds a Master’s degree in European Public Law & Governance from Maastricht University and a Bachelor’s degree in Law from NOVA School of Law, Lisbon.
\nPrior to joining the EEB, she was a policy assistant at UIPI and, before that, a trainee at the Court of Justice of the European Union (General Court).
