While the Commission proposed exclusions for the \u201csustainable\u201d and \u201ctransition\u201d categories, fossil fuel developers could still appear in the \u201cESG basics\u201d category. The letter argues that including them would mislead investors, undermine EU climate and energy goals, and risk greenwashing.
