{"id":101063,"date":"2020-02-10T15:53:11","date_gmt":"2020-02-10T14:53:11","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/eeb.org\/?post_type=library&#038;p=101063"},"modified":"2020-02-19T15:04:56","modified_gmt":"2020-02-19T14:04:56","slug":"decarbonisation-ngos-call-on-the-eu-institutions-to-stop-funding-fossil-fuel-infrastructure","status":"publish","type":"library","link":"https:\/\/eeb.org\/en\/library\/decarbonisation-ngos-call-on-the-eu-institutions-to-stop-funding-fossil-fuel-infrastructure\/","title":{"rendered":"Ten-Year Network Development Plan (TYNDP): NGOs urge European Commission to end gas investments"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Europe has vowed to become carbon-neutral, but continued investments in gas infrastructure risk undermining this goal.<\/p>\n<p>The EEB, together with CAN Europe, is asking the European Commission to exclude funding to new fossil fuel infrastructure, including gas, when drafting the T<span class=\"st\"><em>en-Year Network Development Plan<\/em> (<em>TYNDP<\/em>) and the <\/span>next list of <a href=\"https:\/\/ec.europa.eu\/energy\/en\/topics\/infrastructure\/projects-common-interest\">Projects of Common Interest (PCI)<\/a>.
