The objective of stress test according to the Commission is \u201cto assess whether directives remain relevant, propotionate, and fit to achieve their objectives in a cost efficient way, including by identifying opportunities to reduce unnecessary administrative burden\u201d.<\/div>\n<div class=\"x_elementToProof\">\nThis is a narrow focus, ignoring the reasons why the legislation was adopted.
