Do you campaign on the Sustainable Development Goals in Belgium? Are you planning an event, a street action, or other creative activity to raise awareness? You might be eligible for a grant of up to € 1000!
As part of the EEB-led project Make Europe Sustainable for All, financial support is available to local groups, grass-root organisations, and other civil society actors working at the local level in order to strengthen capacity, knowledge sharing and information exchange on the implementation and monitoring of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), and to raise awareness of the transformative role the SDGs can have for every EU citizen and their role in promoting Agenda 2030.
We welcome applications for local project proposals in Belgium before the closing date of 6 May 2018.

Who can apply? – Local grassroots organisations/entities
– Local members of national civil society organisations (CSOs) operating at the local level
– Local citizens groups, including student groups, clubs, civic initiative groups and similar
Note: National organisations are eligible if the action involves local groups and people at the grass-roots level.
In order to be eligible, applicants must:
a) Be legal persons and/or a registered entity.
b) Be non-profit making
c) Be established in Belgium
Note: An applicant can only submit one proposal in the same call for proposals at the national level.
In Belgium, in accordance with the project and thematic campaign approach, local actions shall focus on the SDGs and Agenda 2030 implementation in Belgium, particularly in relation to the issues of fighting inequalities. Proposed actions shall raise awareness and engage policy makers at local and regional level in developing and promoting coherent policies for sustainable future with an active participation of civil society.
